Through Medical Claims Online, we offer a fixed fee service to people who feel they have a valid medical negligence claim.
Our service includes:
- Obtaining and sorting your medical records
- Preparing an index
- Preparing a chronology of events
- Preparing a detailed analysis of the legal and medical issues
- Liaising with our Panel Members to establish the prospects of successfully concluding a claim for compensation
- Advising you as to whether you have grounds to investigate a medical negligence claim.
The fee for this service is £250.00 + VAT. This excludes the cost of obtaining your records under the Data Protection or Access to Health Records Acts. The cost of this will be charged separately. Under the Data Protection Act, each Hospital Trust can charge a maximum of £50.00 to supply copies of the records held by them.
