Fixed Fee Inquests
Our Lawyers deal with all aspects of Medical Law, including Coronial Law (the law relating to Inquests).
When a loved one dies it can be a traumatic time for everyone involved. When an inquest is to be held in to the cause of the death, the grieving process is extended. It is therefore imperative that where you have concerns in relation to the cause of a death a specialist Medical Lawyer is consulted.
It is not always necessary to have a Legal Representative at the Inquest but it is important that you seek advice prior to the inquest.
Public Funding is not generally available for inquests and as such our Lawyers provide a fixed fee service which includes:
- Obtaining medical records and depositions
- Reviewing the records
- Advising in relation to the questions to be asked or attending the inquest
- Providing dedicated support and assistance at a difficult time
